Support the Movement
Disability 3.0 is a California nonprofit corporation and the organization behind Disability Night Out. We're building a world where people with disabilities don't wait for permission – they lead. Your gift helps make that happen.
Why your gift
matters now.
We're in the early days – building the infrastructure for a national movement. Disability 3.0 is incorporated in California as a nonprofit and is working toward federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. One founder, no staff, self-funded so far. Every dollar at this stage goes directly into making Disability Night Out real: outreach to restaurants and community partners, the Patron and Restaurant field guides, printed flyers for front desks and bulletin boards, and the coordination behind a single national night of action.
It also fuels what comes after. Disability Night Out is the first program of Disability 3.0 – a California nonprofit we're building for the next era of belonging and access, not just accommodation. Your gift helps launch The Handrail Brigade and The Active ISA alongside it.
- Fund outreach and printed materials for Disability Night Out – the first national collective action of its kind
- Produce the Patron and Restaurant field guides, free for anyone to download
- Cover materials and coordination for Handrail Brigade installs
- Build the tools, website, and community infrastructure for a lasting movement
- Support a founder-led organization built by and for disabled people
A portion of every merch purchase also goes directly to the mission – shop the Disability Night Out store.

Where It Goes
Small gifts.
Outsized impact.
Get the word out
Every movement starts with a conversation. Your gift helps us create the materials, messages, and outreach that introduce Disability 3.0 to new communities.
Build the feedback loop
Real change needs real data. Your gift supports the tools and outreach that connect disabled diners, restaurant owners, and home improvement partners – turning individual experiences into collective insight.
Grow the infrastructure
Programs don't scale on goodwill alone. Your gift helps us develop the partnerships, systems, and presence that take Disability Night Out and The Handrail Brigade from idea to institution, including media outreach and social media to let the world know there's change coming.
"We're not asking for accommodation.
We're building belonging." – Erick Mikiten, FAIA · Founder, Disability 3.0
